Filming for Traditional Scottish Music DVD

Bread and butter have just finished working with Scottish Traditional music Producer Billy McIssac on his latest creation a Traditional Scottish music DVD.

Billy's last release Here's Tae Us (A Celebration of Scottish Music) was one of Scotland's biggest selling charity CDs ever, featuring previously released tracks donated by many of Scotland's top bands and singer/songwriters: Capercaillie, Wolfstone, Phil Cunningham & Aly Bain, Eddi Reader, Dougie MacLean, Anam, Mackenzie, Fergie MacDonald, Caledon, Jim Hunter, Michael Marra, Carol Laula, Lushrollers, Blazin' Fiddles, Cliar and Donnie Munro.

Bread and Butter was hired to organize the filming of the final scene for the DVD. A full scottish pipe band was transported to the top of annoch Mor mountain where they played to the cameras. Sixty people in total squeezed into Nevis Range Gondalas with their instruments and made their way to the top of the mountain. The shoot was planned to co-ordinate with the use of a helicopter kindly hired by Nevis range. This was planned to give us an ariel shot. Unfortunately bad weather caused the helicopter to be canceled and the shoot proceeded with only ground shots.

Bread and Butter made front page of the Oban times being captured in action filming the band at the top of Annoch Mor.
