Bread and Butter produces a teaser for
Peter Chrzanowski's latest Film 'Airheads'. Archival footage from the early days.

Bread and Butter have become involved with
Peter Chrzanowski's latest Film venture 'The air head diaries'.
Extreme Filmmaker Peter “ Peru “ Chrzanowski tells his story of obsession with paragliding. Like many of us he had always dreamed of flying. Back in 1988 he had heard of a wild new sport just developing in the French and Swiss Alps, where people used parachute like devices to run down hill sides, and then experience a hang gliding like effect on a smaller scale. Peter had just recently gone around the world filming on a DC 3. Yet he always said.” Planes, well, being cooped up in planes, that never really cut it “. Peter was intrigued by this new phenomenon and decided to follow up and do some research. He had always been an extreme sport aficionado, but he had not as of yet tasted the true sensation of free flight.
“ People go to extreme measures these days, just to achieve a little airtime, whether it may be on a mountain bike, kite surfing, or even a run in powder snow. It is claimed that all of us eventually seek out that weightless, floating like sensation. After all from the dawn of mankind people had yearned to fly creating tales such as the one from Greek Mythology of - Icarus. “

While making AIRHEADS, the producers uncovered some amazing archival footage from the late 80's . This was some of the first paragliding in North America when the sport was in it's infancy. It was a miracle nobody was killed as nobody really knew quite what they were doing, neither the teachers, or the students !
