The Kayak vs Runner Freechase.....
After an unsettled period of weather in Vancouver, the sun has finally started to shine once again.
Using the great weather we have had chance to get out and shoot more of the Freechase scenes. A quick session out at Oak St Dirt jumps in downtown Vancouver to add to a bike chase. Then onto the Lynn valley and the Twin falls.
The twin falls in Lynn Valley provide some spectacular cliff jumps which are used in the summer when the water is low. At present the river is in a medium state, the lower river being too low to kayak, but the falls being at a comfortable medium flow.
Burt Burton came along and took the role of the Runner/cliff jumper in the kayak vs Runner chase scene. This required lots of entertaining swimming and some big cliff jumps with fun landings into turbulent pools.
Burt survived all the descents, the only casualty being a flooded Pelican box.
